PartMule: The allure of Serena Williams, however slight, was definitely diminished after I found this one.  Classic.

UPDATE - This is incredible! [NYDAILY

An explosive story in The Post yesterday detailed how A-Rod and his mystery lady friend dined Sunday at a pricey Toronto steakhouse. They then visited an all-nude strip club before calling it a night and getting onto an elevator alone together at the Four Seasons hotel, where the Bombers’ $252 million man was staying.

Cynthia Rodriguez (the wife) ducked out of the couple’s exclusive Park Avenue apartment building yesterday afternoon without stopping to answer questions. She later returned, had several pieces of luggage placed her in car and was driven away last night. [SOURCE]

The Yankee season, already smoldering, is now a major So. Cal. brush fire!  Apparently, A-Rod has been ducking around the country with this buxom blonde for months in multiple cities, recently showing up at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas May 13th to enjoy bottle service and then to get serviced.   With wifey out the door, the media in NYC is swarming.   You don’t think Mr. Barry Bonds is smiling at the distraction while he plays the Mets this week?!

I wanna leave…I don’t wanna leave.   I wanna bang Colorado concierges….I wanna bang my wife?   Figure it out, playa?!

Kobe needs his meds again.  That much is certain.  I do understand that he wants to win a championship and its admirable for him to strive, claw, and beg for it.   But his approach is still ALL Kobe.  Rather than enabling the Lakers to attempt to make ”non-desperate”, trade attractive moves this off-season, he is showing the Laker whole cards and the league has gotta be lovin’ it.

This morning on 1050 EPSN Radio NY, Kobe had this to say about the speculation on his coming/going:

“I would like to be traded, yeah. Tough as it is to come to that conclusion there’s no other alternative, you know?”

Bryant, interviewed by Stephen A. Smith, was asked if there was anything the Lakers could do to change his mind.

“No,” Bryant said. “I just want them to do the right thing.”

Asked if he had any preference for a trade destination, he said “At this point I’ll go play on Pluto.”

He later recanted, slightly.  Bryant talked to Dan Patrick on ESPN Radio,

“I’m so tired of talking,” Bryant said. “It’s tough. I always dreamed about retiring as a Laker. I just hope and hope that something can be resolved. Something can be figured out. Just something so I can stay here and be in this city and be with the team I love.” [SOURCE]

Kobe’s recent public swaying on being traded, in addition to his boisterous ambitions to have Jerry West return to the Lakers front office, have the ”hardest of core” Laker fans sick.

Kobe, go to Maui with your “everything” and let the Lakers go after the Kevin Garnett’s and Jermaine O’Neal’s this off season with enough ammunition to bring it home, baby!   Or drop a couple of Lexapro and just chill…

Coming off my Vegas fog, I hadn’t even seen the Rampage (Jackson) v. Iceman (Liddell) fight and knockout until last night.   Yes, I was out there, heard the results, and I think my face might have twitched a bit as a show of consciousness when I was told.   Probably the only sign of lucidity the whole weekend.  Way disappointing ending to the fight.
