SEAN TAYLOR (1983 - 2007)

Washington Redskin’s safety Sean Taylor died this morning from a critical gun shot wound shot that severed his femoral artery.    He was 24 years-old.

A travesty….not only because the man could lay the wood on someone, but because he had turned into an NFL poster-child for ‘boy becoming a man’ .  A real feel good story for the league.  After run-in’s with authorities – and some less than savory accusations over his recent past –Taylor had turned the corner, stayed clean, and by all accounts was upstanding citizen raising a daughter and responsibly going about his career.

Although I’m far from a Redskin fan, I can say I was definitely a fan of Sean Taylor, his story of maturation, and the way hit put a lickin’ on his opponents….

Yes, this is a sports/entertainment/dumb stuff blog, but I felt compelled to post this video of Jim Cramer of CNBC’s Mad Money going absolutely ballistic about the stock market and impending Armageddon.  I almost grabbed my nuts and ran in front of car. If you don’t watch for the entertainment value of his complete meltdown, you should listen to what he’s saying.  We could all be fucked.

Indians may be challenging the Japanese in weird, funky entertainment! 

I know.  A solid, bold statement.  But this video ratcheted up the India ‘what the fuck’ entertainment rating….a notch just below dem wacky Japanese.  Not that I’d ever wanna go to India.  It’s humid, dirty, and if you leave dinner leftovers in your car for 15 minutes the spice stench lingers for months.
