Michael Vick was transferred to Leavenworth federal prison in Kansas today. These will be his luxury accommodations for the next 20+ months, although he may be given a bit of a reprieve if he successfully completes a drug treatment program. The sentence could be reduced to as little as 12-months, as reported by Yahoo Sports.
Frankly, I’m a bit baffled by the “successful completion” designation to this program. How can he not be successful? Right?! It’s not like the guy down the cell block is gonna be passin’ a doobie to Michael Vick, former pro footballer, and thereby jeopardize his ability to complete the program. And I’m sure Mike can just chill, barely coherent/awake through the meetings, and squeeze this one out.
See you next Christmas, Mikey!
