MSNBC Countdown with Keith Olbermann host and NBC Sunday Night Football general distraction Keith Olbermann does not do fair and balanced interviews, according to Playboy.
The adult magazine did a piece in their October issue on the TV personality and had to temper the rantings and negativity with humor in order to make it publishable. From Page Six today,
[Playboy] Editor Chip Rowe tried to balance their vitriol by getting the head of an Olbermann fan site to pen a gushing note to run along with all the negative opinions
Olbermann told Playboy: “Fox News is worse than Al-Qaeda - worse for our society.”) Among the many angry letters in the January issue: “Olbermann deserves his own Worst Person award for not allowing anyone on his show who disagrees with him.” Another slammed him as “frustrated, envious and unfocused.”
I’m still shocked that Playboy thought this was a viable/commercially appealing interview in the first place. It’s Keith Olbermann, for God’s sake! Wouldn’t a light-hearted, family piece with the president of the Seal Clubbing Society of Canada have done markedly better? Where the president could remark,
Seal clubbing….at least we don’t fly commercial airliners into buildings!
