 TEACHING KIDS IS A PROCESS THAT ALL PARENTS SHOULD EMBRACE

A study done by McGill University in Canada has concluded babies who were breastfed performed better on IQ tests at the age of six.   This recent study — of over 14,000 kids — has validated other opinions and science that have come up with the same conclusion…that Mother’s milk and bonding make ya smart.

They found that those who breastfed exclusively for the first three months - with many also continuing to 12 months - scored an average of 5.9 points higher on IQ tests in childhood.

Teachers also rated these children significantly higher academically than control children in both reading and writing, the Archives of General Psychiatry reported.

Lead researcher Professor Michael Kramer said: “Long-term, exclusive breastfeeding appears to improve children’s cognitive development.”  [link]

I love it when science comes to the rescue of my long-standing boob sucking hypothesis!

My journey to be a genius began at the age of 13 in Jenna Thomson’s backyard gazebo….and continued through college and many a spring break in Cancun….and to this day I’ve promised myself that one day I’d be smart enough for that PhD in quantum physics.  My post-graduate studies have taken me to such valuable locales as Dirty Dan’s, Pacers, and Spearmint Rhino….all of which have some splendid instructors.  I feel very fortunate.
