“Wait ’til they get a load of me.”

Alex Rodriguez’s lovely wife Cynthia is doing her best to spend-spend-spend while A-Rod is packin’-packin’-packin’ that 49 year-old Madonna ass.  She recently jaunted to Paris with godparents and daughter, spent lavishly, and spa’ed it up on the A-Rod tab.  Damage is reportedly $100,000, according to a friend of A-Rod’s…

There, Cynthia “had spa treatments, she went to the best restaurants,” the A-Rod friend said. “She originally was going to head to Spain, where Lenny Kravitz was touring.”

In addition to embarrassing Rodriguez and feeding false rumors that she and the rocker were an item, Cynthia gave A-Rod a taste of the gouging to come, the friend said.

“She needs four lawyers in two different states?” asked the friend. “That’s not the dream team, it’s the greed team.”

Also, the pal said, Cynthia has deliberately kept A-Rod from his daughters while tarring him as an absentee father. [story]

Yikes.  I’m stunned! Flabbergasted.  In complete shock. Can you believe it?  With the US$ exchange rate the way it is she’d go to France? Of all places?! I mean it is silly. I believe a black coffee in Paris is about $125 US.  Get an extra shot of espresso and your talking $175.  The bitch should have got more bang for her buck with a nice domestic, U.S. tourism stop like Hawaii. Whore.

THE BAD

ALEX AND CYNTHIA RODRIGUEZ BEFORE/DURING/AFTER A-ROD BANGED MANY STRIPPERS/TRANNIES

After Ass-Rod Rodriguez crept away from three-years and $72 million left on his contract and infuriated the MLB and his New York Yankees by opting out during the middle of game four of the World Series….had a season of adultery….had a season of great regular season stats and a likely MVP award (cough, gag, watery mouth, vomit)…..had his classy wife show up at Yankee Stadium with “Fuck You” emblazoned across her shirt…..and followed it all up with his typical miserable choking playoff performance (his all-time playoff record is 6 -14)….

and…..Alex Rodriguez will likely be awarded a 10-year $275 million contract from the New York Yankees!

Alex Rodriguez and the New York Yankees have agreed on the framework of a 10-year, $275 million contract, New York media reported on Thursday.

Reports of the agreement, believed to offer further compensation as he reaches home run milestones, came a day after the player said he had contacted the Yankees in a bid to return to the team.

“Things with Alex Rodriguez are looking good,” Yankees senior vice president Hank Steinbrenner told The New York Times in the latest twist to where Rodriguez would play after declaring himself a free agent. [LINK TO STORY]

Bravo, Yanks.  Another ten years of misery.   Way to flush that one out before pulling out the checkbook.   This guy will never lead you back to greatness and will continue to disappoint the faithful.  You were better off with a Scott Brosius at the hot corner – and his career .257 average – over you’re mega-star earning more than the gross domesitic product of Guianna.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY - PART GOOD

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY - PART UGLY

 YANKEES GENERAL MANAGER BRIAN CASHMAN

Apparently Alex Rodriguez and the New York Yankees are cool again.  After a tumultuous post-World Series week, Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman is ready to cross the ‘uncomfortable bridge’ with A-Rod and agent Scott Boras and offer the olive branch that every free-agent aspires to receive.   Arbitration.   Yes.  The “A” word.  Lucky Mr. Rodriguez….I’m sure he’s tingly all over.

Cashman will extend the offer to A-Rod with these unequivocally loving words for his embattled MVP third baseman,

“I’m definitely offering him arbitration,” Cashman said. “I want those draft picks.”

Teams must offer arbitration to their own free agents by Dec. 1. By doing so, clubs ensure that they will receive compensatory draft picks if those free agents sign with other teams. Because A-Rod is a Type A free agent, the Yankees would get two amateur draft selections.

If A-Rod accepted, he would be contractually bound to the Yankees for 2008, and in line for a significant raise from his 2007 salary of $27 million. [LINK TO STORY]

Well, well, well….roses, candy and love are embedded in Cashman’s “I want those draft picks” speak.   Yes, a fall back for A-Rod and Scott Boras should the deafening “boycott A-Rod” talk get too loud…..and a shit load of money for the Yanks to shell out for a shell of a clutch baseball performer.    Who’s in the right or wrong….

ALEX RODRIGUEZ’S AGENT SCOTT BORAS

The Alex Rodriguez situation with the New York Yankees got a little more catty and probably irreconcilable.  Major League Baseball and the Yankees lashed back at Rodriguez and agent Scott Boras for their ill timed annoucement they’d be opting out of the last three years of A-Rods contract.  The annoucement came via email and during the middle of game four of the World Series.  Good one, fellas.

First the MLB clawed back at Boras/Rodriguez on the timing:

“We were very disappointed that Scott Boras would try to upstage our premier baseball event of the season with his announcement,” Bob DuPuy, baseball’s chief operating officer, said Monday in an e-mail to The Associated Press.  “There was no reason to make an announcement last night other than to try to put his selfish interests and that of one individual player above the overall good of the game,”

Then Hank Steinbrenner joined the mauling, when asked if the Yanks would negotiate with A-Rod now, after the Boras/Rodriguez strategy bumble:

“No chance. Not if it’s made official.”  [LINK TO STORY]

Well, A-Rod,  ya kind of blew that “good faith” thing that happens when contracts end and are renegotiated with long-term business partners.  Can you really blame anyone for all the negativity?  I thought you had some serious leverage at first, but now I recant my lame perspective.   I don’t care how many home runs you can hit in the regular season, there has to be league-wide backlash due to your arrogance.  Plus, you’re no Derek Jeter and definitely no leader.

ALEX RODRIGUEZ GONE FROM THE YANKEES? ARods Classy Wife

After the Boston Red Sox completed their little league dismantlement of the National League’s entrant into the World Series tournament, Alex Rodriguez apparently wasted no time to throw wind on the New York Yankees off-season wildfire by announcing his intent to become a free agent.   Rodriguez contractually had ten days after the end of the World Series to opt out of his contract, but apparently needed ten minutes:

Some details:

“I got a call from Alex tonight, and he is going to opt out,” Scott Boras, Rodriguez’s agent, told The Post last night during Game 4 of the World Series. “He was just too unsure with new ownership talking about a transition where the organization is going right now. He is not sure what is going to happen with [free agents] Mariano [Rivera] and [Jorge] Posada, and if Andy Pettitte is coming back. He needs more time to assess where the Yankees are going in the future.”  [LINK TO STORY]

Yikes.  Talk about leverage.  You’re Alex Rodriguez and stand to make $150 million over the next five-years.  You’re agent is a wolf in wolf’s clothing – Scott Boras. The dreaded Boston Red Sox just won their second series title in four years.  The Steinbrenner family ownership is in transition….

Umm….Yanks, you’re invited to a barbecue, the coals are all fired up, and we’re serving ridiculous contracts on a skewer.   With a side of scalloped GM Brian Cashman and Yankee pride.   BYOB.

Awwww!  How awesome is it to be Alex Rodriguez?  Banging hookers in multi-city outings over the summer, proud papa to be with that classy wifey of his in the fall.   The guy has nine-husband lives or something.   Oh wait….he makes $30 million-a-year in salary!   Oopsie.   Actually, he may have 50 lives….

This from People Magazine via Yahoo Sports:

“Cynthia and I are overjoyed to announce this addition to our family,” Alex Rodriguez told the magazine. “We realize what a special gift children are, and feel very blessed to welcome our second child.”  [FULL STORY]

He forgot to mention those special gifts earlier in the year.   That special itch back in May, the special burning sensation in July….oh, I almost forgot, the special phone calls from a tranny named Burt back in early August.    ARod is just a special giver of almost everything but playoff performances….
