In case you missed it, the NBA playoffs began this past weekend. I know, PartMule barely pays attention to pro hoops anymore too. In one of the bigger upsets, the Denver “Tatted Up, Thug Life” Nuggets defeated the San Antonio Spurs in game one of their first round series. Inexplicably, no fights broke out, no domestic disturbances occurred, and no marijuana was found on the floor. This will be a sad state of events if the Nuggets win the series and beat one of the classier teams in the NBA.
Personally, I don’t like either team as I’m a Laker fan, despite Kobe Bryant. Seriously, I think the Denver Nuggets minimum requirement per player is 3 misdemeanors, 4 tattoos (at least one on the neckline), and 2 bongs at home. Not sure why they got rid of Kenyon Martin in the off-season, since he more than doubled each Nugget requirement.
