With Paris Hilton getting out of jail today, I would be remiss in, 1) not making mention of her in any post today and 2) not reminding the few of you that actually check out this Site the real reason Paris was put in jail.
Reasons? That she’s a drunk diva that has no respect for herself or others? Well, yeah, kind of like that. That she has the wits of the kid that wiped my table at McDonalds yesterday? Well, yeah, kind of like that.
In their case against her, prosecutors called to the stand three law-enforcement officers who had individually pulled over Hilton on three occasions, starting with her DUI arrest in September 2006. The first officer warned her that her license might be suspended as a result of the DUI; the subsequent two officers informed her this was definitely the case
Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail for violating the terms of her probation by repeatedly driving with a suspended license.
“[Hilton] disregarded everything … and didn’t care and kept driving,” said Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer.
